PopStroke Nashville Fly-Through Drone Video

Nashville Drone Co was hired to create an FPV drone fly-through video for the new PopStroke Nashville location in the week leading up to its grand opening. The objective was to produce a dynamic, immersive video that would give future guests a first look inside the facility before opening day. The video was used across social media platforms, shared with local media outlets, and became a key component of the grand opening marketing campaign.

The Challenge

New entertainment venues often have only a short window to build excitement before opening day. Traditional photography can showcase features, but it doesn't create the same sense of movement and immersion that helps viewers imagine themselves experiencing the venue.

PopStroke needed a marketing asset that would:

• Generate excitement prior to opening

• Showcase the entire guest experience

• Highlight multiple attractions in a single video

• Provide engaging content for social media and local press

• Capture attention quickly in crowded digital feeds

The project also required careful flight planning within an active construction and setup environment as final preparations for opening were underway.

Our Approach

To create a truly immersive experience, we used FPV (First Person View) drone technology to fly viewers through the venue in a single continuous motion. Unlike traditional drone footage that remains outside a building or hovers at a distance, FPV drones can navigate through spaces, creating a fast-paced cinematic perspective that feels like a guided tour.

Using a DJI Avata 2 platform, we captured:

• Exterior establishing shots

• Entry sequences

• Fly-throughs of the miniature golf courses

• Guest gathering areas

• Dining and entertainment spaces

• Signature venue features

The footage was edited into a high-energy promotional video optimized for social media, web marketing, and media distribution.

Results

The completed fly-through video became a centerpiece of the venue's grand opening marketing efforts.
